Elgin Green Groups 350 meetings

3rd Monday of every month

6:30p

UPCOMING

Monthly EGG350 meeting:
June 21, 2021

AGENDA
EGG350 welcomes the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) for a special presentation. The speaker-presenter is Clayton Daughenbaugh, SUWA’s Organizing Director and vice-chair of the Sierra Club’s National Wildlands & Wilderness Team, who has been an EGG350 guest previously.

Join us to find out how the spectacular red rock wilderness lands contribute to addressing the challenge of climate change, based on a new gathering of scientific data illustrating an important role for these lands and the protection of wild places in general. Also included in the program is an update on the status of Bears Ears & Grand Staircase Escalante National Monuments, as well as the re-introduced “America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act”, which would protect this fast and wild landscape.

The centerpiece of the evening will be a viewing of an award-winning advocacy film. Due to the movie, EGG350 will utilize SUWA’s Zoom platform. Because of this, attendees are required to register HERE; registration can be done anytime between now and when you tune in for the gathering.
